The Interview Rule That Changed in 2026
Since May 18, 2026, USCIS requires attorneys to be physically present at field-office interviews — remote participation is no longer permitted except in limited circumstances. For a green-card or naturalization interview, that means your lawyer is either in the room or absent. We attend.
